EDUCATION
[ultimate_info_table design_style=”design05″ color_scheme=”red” package_heading=”EDUCATION”]As education is in a very special way the concern of the Church and since she offers her assistance to all peoples, the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus teaches in schools controlled by Church, State or Private Bodies. Teaching in schools offers abundant opportunities to bring God’s truth to students.

The teaching Sisters realize that true education is directed towards the formation of the whole human person. We harmonize the teaching of religion with secular subjects. We do this in such a way as to develop in the pupils their physical, moral, intellectual, cultural and spiritual qualities.[/ultimate_info_table]

HEALTH CARE SERVICES
[ultimate_info_table design_style=”design05″ color_scheme=”red” package_heading=”HEALTH CARE SERVICES”]The Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus engage in Medical work by extending our Christian charity to all without distinction and without seeking gain or gratitude. We do them in imitation of our compassionate, loving and gentle Master who went about the towns and villages healing the sick and the infirm.

We work in Hospitals, Maternity Centers, Orphanages and Clinics belonging to the Congregation, the Church or the State, in ready co-operation with other Health care providers, according to the circumstance. We make our services available to people of every condition, but especially to the poor and afflicted, and willingly spend ourselves for them. (2Cor.12:15). We share in their sorrows, their joys and try to understand their problems, their sufferings and their hopes (Ad Gen. 12).[/ultimate_info_table]

SOCIAL WORK
[ultimate_info_table design_style=”design05″ color_scheme=”red” package_heading=”SOCIAL WORK”]

As our Founder wished, the Congregation undertakes Apostolates that would help women and girls wherever we are sent.

The service of people’s temporal needs of body, mind and spirit is in itself the service of Christ himself. “…As you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” (Matt. 25:40).

This is an Apostolate which needs no further justification. Nevertheless, the Sisters engaged in Social Work also prepares as opportunities offer, explains religious beliefs to the people whom we are giving assistance to.

In organizing Social action, the Sisters respect and utilize as far as possible the traditional structure of any ethnic group they are dealing with. (Ad Gentes 21, 22, 26).

  1. Organizing Women’s Group and Youth Club
  2. Maternity and Child Health Centers
  3. Adult Literacy Classes
  4. Vocational Training for school leavers
  5. Management of Motherless Babies Homes
  6. Marriage Counseling
  7. Assistance to the Handicapped and the aged poor.
  8. Visitation to homes, hospitals and prisons.
